Kinetico Canada helps clean up their community.
Toronto, ON - June 16, 2008. Communities across Canada are benefiting from the efforts of businesses and private volunteer groups as they take affirmative action to clean up their neighbourhoods on June 21, 2008. Kinetico Canada is one such company. Each year, Kinetico staff and many of their dealers head out to their local communities and clean up the garbage that has collected on area streets and local parklands.
Phillip Adsetts, Managing Director of Kinetico Canada says, “Kinetico believes in giving back to the communities that we do business in. I can't think of a better way to say thank you, than to help when our community needs us. Kinetico is committed to protecting the environment. So, participating in National Clean Up Day is something we embrace as an organization.”
Kinetico has been an active participant in National Clean Up Day for several years now in the Caledon, Bolton and Orangeville areas and plans to continue the tradition this year. Last year Kinetico staff and their dealers picked up approximately 400 lbs. of garbage.
You can help Kinetico in this effort by ensuring that yard waste, recyclables, fluorescent bulbs and other types of litter are picked up and moved to the appropriate facility in your area. In addition, should you have appliances, tires, electronics or other such items that you are intending to dispose of, making a call to the appropriate company or municipal department will go a long way to ensuring that we all do our part on June 21st to assist in National Clean Up Day.
The management and staff at Kinetico cordially invite all interested parties to participate on June 21st to ensure that this Clean up Day is as successful as the previous efforts across Canada. Adsetts says, “We invite everyone in the community to come out and help on Saturday June 21st. We are meeting at 8:00am in front of our showroom and teams will be dispersed from there. It will be a fun day of clean up and camaraderie.”
